Terragon News Time

We are so excited to share with you that we have finally completed ALL Kickstarter and Backerkit orders. We will be moving into fulfilling Terragons.com preorders AHEAD of schedule with orders starting to ship as soon as next week!

First, we have to give a huge thank you to all of the people who helped us complete our final push in completing our first Kickstarter we could not have done it without you.

Despite the name of this update, this will NOT be the final TNT, gotcha! We have big plans for the Terragon Terrain system that we will be sharing in the coming months.

We will be leaving the Kickstarter exclusive discount code active for the month of March. However, if you want to get the BEST possible price on your Terragons you will want to place an order before March 1st.

We will be officially exhibiting at two of the largest tabletop gaming conventions in the country! Come see us at Gen Con this August and Origins this June.

We have some exciting plans for convention exclusives, don't worry if you can't make it we will have a limited quantity of these exclusives available on our website to our backers. So keep an eye on our social media for that.

Terragons News Time

This past month has been a flurry of packing, shipping, and making an absolute mess of our shop. We are happy with the pace of fulfillment so far, and are always pleased to have received the many amazing messages from those who have received their tiles!

As of writing this we have only 160 pledges left to fulfill. Well past the halfway mark and with the finish line in sight! To those of you who have not received your Terragons yet please know we are doing everything we can to get them to you as soon as possible, and are pushing to have all Kickstarter backers orders shipped out by the end of this month!

Reviews and support!

We want to thank everyone again for all the messages of support, reviews, and images of your own Terragon Terrain builds! We've received many amazing fan builds along with some very exciting fan made projects and accessories which have been completed or are in the works!

Many have asked how they could assist us by reviewing the product and help show the world how much they love their tiles. We certainly appreciate our backer's support! With our roots here on Kickstarter, comments are always welcomed as future customers are sure to find this page as we move forward! We are working on bulking up our social media presence, so posts and comments tagging us on Instagram and Facebook are amazing as well!

We have also created a page on our website for Kickstarter backers to provide more direct reviews and feedback, that will assist us as we move forward in this exciting journey! You can reach that page by clicking here. 

Pre Orders

We are on schedule to being fulfilling pre-orders in March as initially predicted. Thank you to everyone who used the backer exclusive code to grow their collection! This code is a thank you to all you backers and provides pricing comparable with Kickstarter pricing. 

We will be closing the pre-orders down starting March 1st, and taking Terragons fully live and offered at retail! The kickstarter exclusive code will remain valid for a short time after this as we we want to ensure ALL backers have a chance to try out their tiles and have the ability to order more with the discount code. We will be sure to post here for advance warning on when the code will be turned off.

Thank you again to all the backers that made this possible. This is only the beginning for Terragons and we can't wait to show you what we have planned next.

Terragons News Time

Hello everyone we hope you had a happy and healthy holiday season! 

We are excited to say that fulfillment is now officially in full swing! After some unfortunate illnesses and holiday celebrations we have hit our stride and begun shipping out in earnest!

Since that is really the entire update we wanted share some photos!

Assembly of the tiles has been moving forward at a record pace. With over 30,000 tiles being picked up by Corey today, very few tiles remain to be assembled. The folks we are working with have done an amazing job at expediting this job after all of the delays. We expect ALL of the Kickstarter tiles will be finished with assembly very soon.

Speaking of our assembler, we are pleased to share that we were able to visit and surprise everyone with a pizza party! Our assembler, ARC of Herkimer, or more specifically Herkimer Industry is a member of NYSID (New York State Industries for the Disabled). They have an amazing team of people, offering jobs to a diverse workforce. The workers at ARC and their support staff have done an amazing job and are incredible to work with. Here are some photos from our visit a few weeks ago!

Corey isn't the biggest fan of getting his photo taken, but he had to when heard about just how much this wonderful lady loves Terragons! She works on these tiles every day, snapping the interior scrap material that was left from the manufacturing process. When we heard how much she loved our hex tiles and wanted a picture, Corey had to oblige!

We want to thank everyone again for all the amazing support you have shown through the ups and downs of this journey. We are excited to say that our forecast shows that we are just weeks away from completed fulfillment! Your support has not only helped us to form this business, but support amazing local companies as well!

We look forward to hearing back from everyone as you receive your pledges! We will be sure to keep you updated as we move into the final stages of fulfillment.

Hello everyone and happy holidays from all of us!

We are very excited to announce that fulfillment has officially begun with orders beginning to shipping out!

We are quickly ramping up the number of backers shipping out and are recruiting friends and family to get your orders to you ASAP.

Terragons News Time

Hello everyone, we hope you all had an amazing October and a fun Halloween for those we celebrate it! This month's update is going to be full of a bunch of information we are very excited to share!

Fulfillment

As we detailed in our last update, fulfillment has begun in the sense of beginning to fill up customer orders by backer number. However our manufacturer had made an error with delivery as we mentioned in a previous update. Instead of a range of colors, they made all of the green and stone we for the entire order. Which meant that fulfillment was delayed once again. That on top of the previous delays from the injection molder impacted our timeline significantly.

Thankfully, and amazingly, to remedy this error the injection molder ran our stuff around the clock managing to make ALL of the tiles in just a 2 week span. So the production run that was meant to be spread out across 4 months, instead happened in 2 weeks. So we are happy to say that as of this moment ALL of the tile pieces have been injection molded and have been delivered to our assembler!

The Assembler

We have made numerous trips to the assembler to keep production up and running and fulfillment focused. We have devised a system to ensure that a good mixture of different color tiles are delivered with each shipment to our facility to keep fulfillment smooth.

There has been a small adjustment period and some fine tuning to ensure everything works out well at the assembler. Going from a few hundred tiles a week to 10,000+ is certainly a large change. With all of that in mind we are happy with the results so far, and are certain that all the tiles will be delivered within their initial quoted deadline of 4 months.

Fulfillment Schedule

So what does this mean for the fulfillment timeline? Well it means that as long as everything stays the course we are on a good pace for our latest revised schedule. Which would mean fully fulfilled by Feb 2023, with preorders beginning to ship out in March.

This has been a crazy ride, and the delays have certainly been anything but fun. But trust us when we say that when you get these tiles in your hands you will love them. Everything has been made with our exacting standards in mind and we are very proud of the final product.

Pre Order Adjustments

Due to suggestions both online and at conventions, we have altered our current pre order structure. It is no longer limited to offering 1000 packs in one theme (each box of 250 can be from a different theme), and there is a new 250 variety pack that has every color. This DOES NOT affect any backers pledges on Kickstarter. But we know many of you amazing people have placed additional orders through our website. If this change would alter what color themes you would like to pre-order, please reach out to us!

Shipping Addresses will be Locking

Within the next 1-2 weeks we will be locking shipping addresses. You will be notified through Backerkit and given a 48hr window before addresses lock. So make sure you get that information changed if you need to!
